Music

Ivan Ulz has been singing to children in New York City for twenty years. He is the "Pied Piper" of this neighborhood, and we are just delighted to have him be a part of our family. With his timeless classic "Fire Truck" as well as many childhood favorites, he continues to play for Creative Steps weekly. Along with school classes, Ivan also does birthday parties as well as some "adult" music at different venues around NYC.

Movement

Craig comes to us weekly from the Rebecca Kelly Ballet School, a neighborhood fixture run with his with, Rebecca. Craig has been providing classes at Creative Steps for over a year, and the children absolutely adore him. They flock to him as soon as he walks in the door. Craig encompasses music from all over the world into his class which, helps the children become more aware of the different sounds we all make. Rebecca Kelly Ballet offers numerous classes in the dance field.

Yoga

We are very happy to introduce a new class at Creative Steps. Shari Cavalier is the parent of an "alumni" and has studied yoga for children. We think it is important for children to continue moving their bodies in order to stay fit and healthy, and Shari's fun and energetic style gets the children moving and exploring.
